Behind every perfect wildlife picture, there’s more than luck…there’s a great guide, an amazing driver, and a whole crew making it happen 🐅🦏🐘!Each day started before sunrise - the earlier, the better if you want to spot wildlife😉. First, we’d cross the river to enter the park, and then spend the whole day (yes, nearly 11 hours!) exploring the jungle by jeep. Sometimes in crazy hot weather - but that’s why choosing the right safari provider is everything!For me, it’s all about knowledgeable, passionate guides who truly care about wildlife. In Chitwan, I found exactly that. Our guide and driver weren’t just doing a job… they shared our excitement at every rhino, elephant, or bird encounter (and ofc TIGER!)🥹. And trust me, that makes the whole experience unforgettable. 💛Every safari day ended with a river crossing at sunset. The jungle slowly quieting down, the sky turning into shades of pink, orange and purple just pure magic.The east part of Chitwan truly feels like a secret safari spot few people know about - hidden away from the crowds, offering calm river crossings, golden sunsets, and wildlife all to yourself.What truly made this safari special were the people. The guides, the staff, the whole crew.They went above and beyond, whether it was serving us jungle lunches, preparing our rooms for the night, or simply greeting us with genuine smiles.We honestly couldn’t have imagined a better experience. 🫶It might sound too good to be true… but it really was that good. You just need to try it yourself. I had one big goal this year: to see a rhino in the wild 🦏🥹 But you know what they say… be careful what you wish for… In Nepal I ended up seeing over 30 rhinos in a single trip! 🤯These clumsy giants are the cutest, but don’t be fooled! In jeep you are safe, but a walking safari you learn quickly how dangerous they can be too. The fact that I got to witness so many of them in their natural home still feels unreal.
